Mission
The Terry Parker High School Alumni Fund, Inc. is dedicated to supporting the students, teachers and administrators in the Duval County Public Schools. The TP Fund provides private sector funding and goods and services for DCPS approved student activities.
Core Beliefs
1) A strong public-school system is a necessary component for a healthy and vibrant community and necessary for robust economic and business growth.
2) It is unproductive, unnecessary, and inappropriate to expect the DCPS’s students, parents, teachers, administrators, or elected officials to solve all of the funding needs of the DCPS.
3) The financial resources contributed by the Alumni Fund will not cause existing support to be reallocated.
History
The founders recognized the need to develop an organization that would expand and better organize private-sector donations to DCPS. Founders are active in the community and are all graduates of Terry Parker High School.
